    Cultural norms sculpt our everyday lives. We start to learn norms when we are young and continue to learn them all through life. Norms are behavioral rules we use for interaction everyday. These are unconscious actions that we partake in. Without these norms we would have to negotiate all of our actions. We would have to explain why we did what we did, and having these rules makes life easier. The only bad thing is when these norms are violated people label you as a deviant.
