Customers: Traditional management reactive to customer needs, market a product that does not sell what the customer desires, always looking to charge the customer for anything ”extra” : does not believe in internal customer. The results would be loses customer and market share: not internally productive. Quality focused management is proactive to customer needs, provide lowest cost provider, innovation, quality product, and creates excellent customer service with a “goodwill” belief in the internal customer. The results would be loyalty from the customer, increases market shares, even if the customer leaves they will come back; increases internal productivity.
Hiring: Traditional management only hires candidates that he or she thinks like them; will not hire the most qualified; seniority and favoritism is practiced; will not hire quality managers “that” believe in quality principles. The results would be no new ideas are brought to business; no improvement; new hires are unable to perform the job; excellent employee’s are lost.
Quality focused management will hire candidates that will bring new ideas to the company; hire the most qualified; no seniority and favoritism is practiced; believes in hiring quality managers and employees “that” have beliefs. The results would be company increases competitive ability; better retention; increases the numbers of exceptional leaders.
